initially our show with Luther & Tom May was going to be our last one of the year, but since that got cancelled we thought it would be fitting to throw a big end-of-the-year show. you know…send things out on a high note as we welcome the coming apocalypse (thanks, Mayan calendar!). this will likely be all of these bands’ last shows of 2011. it’s free. you really have no reason not to come:
SUNDAY, DEC. 18TH @ DOUBLE FEATURE GALLERY (in the basement) - 1392 W. 65th St., Cleveland, OH
WORSHIP THIS!
+1 TBA
*this is loren and steve’s birthday show. there will be a keg for those of age. donations accepted.
much gratitude to RACHEL HUNT for helping this happen. THAAAANKS!!

we love Pittsburgh more than any bunch of Clevelanders should. this Saturday, we’re releasing a split 7” with our dear friends in Shady Ave. our other brother band The Ghost of Asa Phelps is also playing, along with Hospital Blues.
the show is at one of our favorite venues in the world: 222 Ormsby. we haven’t been to Pittsburgh in over a year and we are all counting down the days it’s taking to get through this shitty work week so we can get on the road. see you on Saturday!

Day two of summer tour found us in La Crosse, Wisconsin. A few kind gentlemen in the illustrious 123 Walrus learned the horn part to our song “The Weight & the Waiting” and jumped up to play it with us.

1) today we shot a music video for our song “the quiet persuader”. it was filmed/directed by our friend aaron freeder, who also shot our “live from bad racket” version of “in tensions”, which you can view HERE. aaron is awesome. the video won’t be out for a few weeks, but we’re all really excited about what we did today.
two: our split with LA’s sweethearts THE FRENCH EXIT through SOLIDARITY RECORDINGS/ON THE REAL RECORDS was announced last week and we couldn’t be more excited. look for that in early winter.
III - we have an awesome announcement that we get to make end of this month/early next month. it involves our latest record being pressed onto 12” plates of wax. keep yer eyes peeled.
