hap’nins

being home from tour is strange.  we met so many amazing people and were treated so well.  we played 23 shows in 24 days and didn’t have a single bad show.

now that we’re home, we’re working on a few different things.  wheels are turning quickly for our split 7” with Shady Ave. which should be out in October if all goes according to plan.

we’re also trying to figure out a way to release our new full length “Latitudes and Longitudes” on vinyl.  in the meantime, you can buy it HERE on CD.

lastly, we have a show with Bomb the Music Industry, The Sidekicks and Worship this at the Grog Shop in Cleveland on 8/29 and you’re missing out BIG TIME if you ain’t there.

Video

here’s a video from the laura stevenson & the cans show the other night at the grog shop.  this is a song that’s going on our new record called “construction paper”.  it was the first time we’d ever played it live.  we also learned that opening with a really long song nobody’s ever heard before is probably a bad idea - but here it is anyway.

you can also check out another video from that night of another brand new song called “the quiet persuader” right HERE.  it’s based largely on of my recent infatuation with the promise ring.

you know that thing where you hear your voice recorded and you’re like “dude, i sound so weird!”  yeah, that.
